nyght is the easiest way to volunteer for the music venues and festivals your care about.
Why join nyght?
Music venues and festivals are nothing without the people working backstage, at the entrance, and, of course, the bar. Most of these people are volunteers, and you can be part of that. Volunteering for such organizations is a great way to offer your time while meeting like-minded people and see cool concerts.
By joining nyght, you can help any organization you want, with only one account, only on one website.
nyght is an open source plateform made by people volunteering almost everywhere. It's hosted in Switzerland, respects your privacy and listens to your feedback. It's a passion project we hope you'll enjoy and find usefull.
How does it work?
Join an organization
After creating your nyght account, visit the nyght page of the organization you want to join, then click the "Join staff" button. Some organizations want to approve new members, so you may have to wait before being able to apply for shifts.
Browse the events
Once you are a member of the organization you want to help, you will be able to browse the organization's upcoming events list. Simply click on the name of the event to read the details.
Apply for a shift
When you found the event you want to work for, click on the "Staff" tab below the title to see the shifts list. Click the "Apply" button on the shift you want to apply. That's it, you applied for a shift, now the fun begins!
About us
nyght is an open source project started as a COVID transformation project by Ebullition in 2022. The idea was to replace the old management platform, used for almost everything, from artists booking to staff management.
Then, we noticed a lot of venues and festivals spend money to reinvent the wheel, each on their own. We wanted to fix that! That's why we decided to let others use nyght, and create a community of volunteers around it to make life easier for events organizers.
